The Domain Quota Report

The domain quota report lets you know how much storage your domain has left on the server. Also, it lets you know which ad copies Broadsign Administrator will archive first if you exceed storage limits. Finally, the report can provide a list of all ad copies on your domain.

For more information about domain quota, see Domain Quota.

To generate the domain quota report, go to the Operations ribbon, and select the Domain Quota icon.
Generate the domain quota report from the Operations ribbon

Then, input information on the Prediction of Ad Copy Archival page.

    • Number of archived ad copies: Select this option if you want to see which ad copies Broadsign Administrator will archive next.
    • Size of archived ad copies (MB): Select this option if you want to see which ad copies Broadsign Administrator will archive next if you exceed your quota by a given size.
Example: Suppose the user’s domain has reached its capacity, and he wishes to upload a 50 MB file. The user would therefore enter 50 in the “Size of evicted ad copies” field, and the report would show the first fifty MB of content in the archival queue. This content will be archived to make room for his new file.

A sample Domain Quota report
The report lists deactivated ad copies on your domain, in the order that they will be archived, if necessary. The usage date corresponds to the last time the ad copy was downloaded by a player or Broadsign Administrator.

Note: When a domain exceeds its domain quota (i.e., its maximum capacity of storage space available for content), it will begin to archive deactivated ad copies. When Broadsign archives an ad copy, players can no longer display them.
