This page provides details about the General section of player configuration profiles.
Note: The General section is one of several under Configuration Profile Properties for players.

The General tab of the General section specifies the name of the configuration profile and contains an “Active” check box. Should you wish to disable the configuration profile, deselect this box.
The Versions tab contains the minimum and maximum client software versions to which the configuration profile can be applied.
