Broadsign Control Administrator 14.6.x
Version 14.6.0 - 29 Mar 2022
Added
- [CORE-21435] A new Content Restrictions tab has been added to the Loop Policy Properties editor, where you can restrict the media / MIME types permitted to playing on the assigned Display Units. For example, you can use this to prevent video from playing on roadside billboards. When you apply restrictions, the player will not download the prohibited media types. If they are added via the API, they will not play. The exception in both cases are emergency messages, which always play, regardless of restrictions. When the loop has a Broadsign Reach slot, bid requests are sent only for the permitted media / MIME types. See Content Restrictions Tab.
- [CORE-21436] The Ad Copy Selection wizard has been updated to alert when a campaign needs particular media / MIME types due to restrictions placed on the Loop Policy of a participant.
Fixed
- [CORE-21605] Updated copyright.
- [CORE-21553] Fixed an issue that caused folder synchronization files to be re-downloaded on every refresh period, in negative UTC timezones (e.g. UTC-5).
Limitations
- Two new columns reflecting the allowed content – Allowed Mime and Mime Restrictions Enabled – do not yet appear in the work area of the user interface.
