Broadsign Control Player 14.6.x
Version 14.6.0 - 29 Mar 2022
Added
- [CORE-21435] A new Content Restrictions tab has been added to the Loop Policy Properties editor, where you can restrict the media / MIME types permitted to playing on the assigned Display Units. For example, you can use this to prevent video from playing on roadside billboards. When you apply restrictions, the player will not download the prohibited media types. If they are added via the API, they will not play. The exception in both cases are emergency messages, which always play, regardless of restrictions. When the loop has a Broadsign Reach slot, bid requests are sent only for the permitted media / MIME types. See Content Restrictions Tab.
Fixed
- [CORE-21304] Fixed the Player API triggers “truncate current” action, which was being ignored.
- [CORE-21546] Fixed an issue where rotation between schedules did not take place as expected.
- [CORE-21676] Fixed an issue causing Broadsign Creator content in the secondary share to get overplayed.
- [CORE-21317] Fixed a bug where files synched within the Monitor Sync /Manifest file feature were downloaded multiple times even when they had not changed.
