Digital Proof of Play (DPoP)
Digital Proof of Play reporting is the logging of playout data on digital media owner players, each time a piece of content is played. There are three ways that you can get Proof of Play information for your digital campaigns.
This information can be accessed from different locations in Splash.
You can access a Proof of Play report for the campaign.
To access the report:
- Log into Splash.
- Click Scheduling and then Campaigns.
- Select the Media filter, then use the Digital option.
- Locate the needed campaign. Open it so that the Basic Info screen is shown.
- Click the button to present a drop-down menu. Select Proof of Play.
This presents the filter search window.
The Proof of Play information for the campaign is displayed in a Reports window.
You can download an Excel file that will contain hourly Proof of Play information for your campaign.
To generate hourly Proof of Play report:
- Log into Splash.
- Click Scheduling and then Campaigns.
- Select the Media filter, then use the Digital option.
- Click search.
- Locate the needed campaign. Open it so that the Basic Info screen is shown.
- Click the button to present a drop-down menu. Select Download Hourly POP Excel.
- Set a Start and End Date for the report, and select the format of the report (Excel or CSV). Click Generate.
This presents the filter search window.
The Hourly POP Filters window opens.
The report is generated.
