Other Segment Information
Bonus Segments
To account for unavailability of faces, booking shortfalls may be made up for through bonus segment bookings. Bonus bookings can be mandatory, in the case of large accounts, or optional.
Information | Description |
Guaranteed Bonus | This status will be used when space is promised to be delivered to an advertiser at no extra charge. |
Non-Guaranteed Bonus | This status will be used when space is to be delivered, only if available, to an advertiser at no extra charge. |
Standard Sale | This status is to be used for most sales. Shortfalls can also be accounted for in the invoicing through other means such as credits or discounts. |
Optional Segment Information
Segments can contain many other information fields that make managing, tracking and reporting upon segments more effective.

Information | Description |
Target Criteria |
Choose the goal: Face Count, Daily Effective Circulation (DEC), or Gross Rating Point (GRP). |
Target Criteria Value | Enter a whole number to indicate the number of faces you must remember to book for this campaign. |
Target Criteria Type | Leave this blank if you choose a Face Count target. |
Segment Finances
Information | Description |
Tax Code | If a tax code that is applicable to the chosen market is available, then it can be selected here. For example, if taxes are different in two districts, no option might be selectable. |
Segment Business Type | An allied field that may be configured in deployment. For example, it may be used to track non-profit or for profit businesses, rural or urban etc. |
Misc Segment Information
Information | Description |
Brand | Use this drop-down menu to identify the brand for which the campaign is being created. |
Reference # | A free-form field to refer to external client information. |
Booking Wizard | Broadsign Ayuda has an internal tool for creating proposals that some customers have deployed. If that tool was used, the resulting session ID would be filled out automatically. |
