Preemptible Content
Preemptible Content (Broadsign Air)
Preemptible content is low-priority content that is delivered when higher-priority content is not scheduled to play.
Broadsign Air supports preemptible campaigns to optimize the delivery of programmatic content when Broadsign Reach integration is enabled. This feature applies to the generate v1 and v2 endpoints.
When Broadsign Reach integration is disabled, all Broadsign Reach slots will be filled with preemptible content, if available.
During the initial 10 minutes of the generated playlist items, Broadsign Reach-integrated demand sources are managed transparently. If ads are available, they are inserted; otherwise, predefined rules prioritize other campaigns. After the initial 10 minutes, Broadsign Reach slots are replaced with lower-priority content.
