Install the Broadsign Control for System on Chip Applet
Warning: Perform this step in-house before shipping your device to its installation location, if applicable, because you need physical access to it.
You must install the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet on your device. This is done differently depending on the device type that you are using.
To install the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet:
- Access the SignageOS interface.
- Click the Applets tab on the left, under the Build menu.
- Select the signageos/broadsign-air-player applet in the list.
- Click the Device App Builder tab.
- Locate the device type on which you want to install the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet and click Add Config row.
- Add the API token that was generated in Add a Broadsign Control for System on Chip User in Broadsign Control with authToken as the key.
- Click Build.
- Access your device to input the installation URL and start the installation process.
- BrightSign – Installing the CoreApp and the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet on a BrightSign device involves using an SD card. See Install the Applet on a BrightSign Device.
- Samsung Tizen – Installing the the CoreApp and the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet on a Samsung Tizen device involves entering the URL in the URL launcher. When prompted for a URL, use the one that you have built above. See Samsung Tizen Device Provisioning.
- LG webOS – Installing the the CoreApp and the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet on a LG webOS device involves entering the URL in the SI Server Setting . When prompted for a URL, use the one that you have built above. See LG webOS Device Provisioning.
- Reboot the device.
A list of applets is displayed.
The applet details are displayed.

Note: You can only see devices that are part of the same Organization as you are.
The build information is displayed on the right. This information includes a URL used to install the CoreApp and the Broadsign Control for System on Chip applet on the device.
Tip: The installation URL can be used on all devices of the same manufacturer present in your domain.
