Edit a Bundle

You can edit a Bundle.

You can edit a Bundle both from the Creatives tool and from the Guaranteed Campaigns module.

Note: The Creatives tool is available to users with the Admin, Direct Sales Admin, Creative Coordinator, or Creative Manager role. See User Permissions for more information.

You can edit the information and creatives of a Bundle.

You can edit a Bundle both from the Creatives tool and from the Guaranteed Campaigns module.

To edit a Bundle:

Creative Management

  1. Access the Creatives Tool.
  2. Creatives Tool – If you are accessing the Creatives tool in the Broadsign Platform, click the name of the Bundle that you want to edit.

    3. The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  3. Guaranteed Campaigns module – If you are accessing the Creative Management tool from the Guaranteed Campaigns module, in the Bundle Editor, click the name of the Bundle that you want to edit.

    4. If a Bundle is already assigned to a campaign, click the more menu on the Bundle that you want to edit, in the Assigned Creative Bundles section, and then click Edit Bundle.

    The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  4. If applicable, edit the following information:
    • Bundle Name
    • External Bundle ID
    • Advertiser
  5. If applicable, change or select categories to be assigned to the Bundle.

    Creative Management

    Categories allow you to profile the type of content so the player can intelligently order it for playback. Categories are defined in Content and Network Management and imported in the Broadsign Platform. For more information on categories, see Categories & Triggers in the Content and Network Management documentation.

    Categories have been defined by your admin.

    • You can select one category in the Main Category drop-down menu. This is the category that is populated first in Content and Network Management.
    • You can select several categories in the Secondary Categories drop-down menu. The number of categories selected is displayed.

  6. If applicable, add new creatives to the bundle by either:
    • Dragging and dropping the creatives.
    • Browsing for files on your device by clicking the Upload Creatives button.

    The uploaded creatives will appear as a list.

  7. You can perform the following actions on the uploaded creatives:

    Allows you to delete the creative from the bundle, as described in Download Creatives.
    Allows you to download the creative on your device, as described in Download Creatives.
  8. When everything is ready, click Save.

    9. The bundle will be listed in the Creative Bundle Gallery in the order that it was created.

You can download media files from a Bundle on your device.

You can download media files both from the Creatives tool and from the Guaranteed Campaigns module.

To download creatives:

  1. Access the Creatives Tool.
  2. Creatives Tool – If you are accessing the Creatives tool in the Broadsign Platform, click the name of the Bundle that you want to edit.

    3. The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  3. Guaranteed Campaigns module – If you are accessing the Creative Management tool from the Guaranteed Campaigns module, in the Bundle Editor, click the name of the Bundle that you want to edit.

    4. You can also click the more menu on the bundle that you want to edit, in the Assigned Creative Bundles section, and then click Edit Bundle.

    The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  4. Click the button next to the creative that you want to download.

    5. The creative is downloaded on your device.

You can delete a creative from a Bundle.

You can delete a creative from a Bundle both from the Creatives tool and from the Guaranteed Campaigns module.

Removing creatives from the Bundle depends on the following:

  • The Bundle's status.
  • Whether this Bundle has creatives.
  • The permission provided to you by your organization admin.

The following table describes when you can remove creatives from the bundle:

Bundle Status Bundle Has One or More Creatives Bundle Has No Creative
New bundle/Unsaved You can delete the creative. You can delete the creative.
Unassigned/Saved You can delete the creative. You can delete the creative with a warning message.
Delivering You can delete the creative with a warning message. You cannot delete the creative.

To delete a creative from a Bundle:

  1. Access the Creatives Tool.
  2. Creatives Tool – If you are accessing the Creatives tool in the Broadsign Platform, click the name of the Bundle from which you want to remove a creative.

    3. The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  3. Guaranteed Campaigns module – If you are accessing the Creative Management tool from the Guaranteed Campaigns module, in the Bundle Editor, click the name of the Bundle from which you want to remove a creative.

    4. You can also click the more menu on the bundle that you want to edit, in the Assigned Creative Bundles section, and then click Edit Bundle.

    The Bundle Editor is displayed with the selected Bundle information.

  4. Click the button next to the creative that you want to remove from the Bundle.

    5. The creative is removed.
