Some sections of the Static Operations module require some setup in the System Administration Connector of BMS.
Perform these steps only if necessary.
Note: The Static Operations module is available to users with the Admin, Static Admin, or Static Campaign Manager role.
To install BMS:
Static Operations
- Access the Static Operations Module
- Access BMS in the top-left menu.
- Click Click here to install BMS.
- Run the installation application that is downloaded.
- At the Windows Security popup, click More info, then Run anyway.
- Sign in with your given credentials.
- Right-click the BMS icon.
- Click Run BMS Maintenance.
This downloads an application executable file.
BMS starts initializing.
Once the initialization is complete, BMS opens.
BMS is located in your Windows launch pad for easy access.
If you ever have any issues, run the BMS Maintenance:
To access the System Administration Connector:
- Within BMS, select Administration Package.
- Click System Administration Connector.
The screen refreshes to present the Administration Package screen.
This presents the top level of the BMS System Administration Connector feature set.
Posters may be posted later than expected. You must provide reasons why it is so.
To set up reasons late, you must select the Reasons Late section in the BMS System Admin Connector.
You can create as many reasons as you want.
In the BMS System Admin Connector, you can add default agency commissions for Agencies.
To add a default agency commission for Agencies, you must add a value in the Default Commission % field in the General tab of an Agency.
You can add new Additional Revenue types, that is, the types other than Installation and Production that are available in the system by default.
