Convert Campaigns Proposals to Campaigns

To convert a Campaigns proposal to a campaign:

Static Campaigns

  1. Locate the proposal.
  2. In Operations, click Charting.
  3. If you viewed the campaign recently, it might be in the recently viewed entries beneath the campaign tile. Click the recently viewed entry, or Campaigns. If not, click the Campaigns tile to show the filter search screen.

  4. Choose a filter on the left hand side to narrow down and therefore speed up your search request.
  5. In this case, select Campaign Status for your search filter.
  6. The specific options at your company may differ but the default options are Proposal, Limited Hold, Unlimited Hold, Contract Pending, Contracted and Cancelled.

In our example, we will use proposal with the campaign name Example.

  7. Click Search.
  8. The records window on the right refreshes to show proposals only.

  9. Once the proposal or contract has been located, click the record.
  10. This opens the campaign record in a new window.

Throughout Operations, click the Edit button icon to change a record. The fields below it become editable. However, this is not so when converting a proposal to a live campaign. Why? Making this change allocates resources. As such the interface forces multiple confirmations.

  11. Click the Ellipses Button button, then select Change Campaign Status from the drop-down menu.
  12. Change Campaign Status

This presents the Change Campaign Status dialogue box.

    Change Campaign Status

  13. Select the Contracted radio button. Click OK. A confirmation request is displayed.
  14. Click OK.
  15. The system proceeds to change the status of inventory that was included in this proposal from maybe available to sold. Once the contract has been made active, it cannot be reverted to a proposal again. The campaign may only be placed on hold, pending or cancelled.

Other Campaign Lifecycle Statuses

These are informational fields only but do not reserve faces.
