More about Voiding and Deleting
There is no point of voiding a segment when the campaign is still in proposal as no assets have been sold. When campaigns are underway, if the designs have not been posted or played, there is no impact (barring any additional revenues or fees) to deleting or voiding segments. Once a segment is voided it should stop playing immediately.
Voiding a Segment is the segment equivalent to cancelling a campaign. Meaning, if a Face has already played or been posted in a Segment, or it has already been invoiced, the user cannot delete the Segment, only void it.
Similar to cancelled campaigns, it is not possible to edit voided segments. Operationally, Broadsign Ayuda users may not bill the rest of the contracted amount and modify the invoices by removing the faces from the invoice schedule or offer credit.
Note: Once something has been voided, it cannot be un-voided.
Voiding Within Campaigns
Chartists and digital schedulers can void single faces within segments. This allows them to rebook those faces in other campaigns. Finance users are able to create credits for voided amounts.
