What is a Campaign?
Campaign
A campaign is the contracted sale of advertising space for specific locations and dates.
These typically start as proposals by the sales team in Juice, the proposal creation tool. Once accepted by the client and your sales managers, these proposals are converted to contracts by chartists. In small to mid-sized companies, campaigns might be contracted directly in Splash.
Irrespective of how campaigns are created, from proposals or from scratch, and whether or not the ads are static or digital, they all have the same lifecycle, but digital has more details. For example, there are no booking lines in static campaigns.
There are Two Ways to Start a Campaign
- Convert a Juice proposal to a campaign (see Converting Juice Proposals to Campaigns).
- Create a campaign from scratch in Splash (see Creating Campaigns from Scratch).
Remember
- Faces get booked
- Content gets scheduled
- Booking and scheduling are not synonyms.
