Dashboard

Broadsign Control Administrator includes a widget-based dashboard that you can configure. It provides graphs and tables with which you can monitor the performance of different parts of your domain and set-up.

Following are some characteristics of the dashboard:

  • Expand/Minimize – You can expand or minimize the dashboard, as you want. There are four options, ranging from completely hidden to full size. To expand or minimize the ribbons, click either of the small blue arrows that appear at the top of the dashboard.

  • Add/remove widgets – As long as the dashboard is visible, that is, not hidden, you can add or remove widgets. To do this, click the +/- icon in the dashboard.

Widget Description
Network/Domain Bandwidth – Shows the total bandwidth your domain has consumed over the last 3 months. Refreshes every 15 minutes. See the Bandwidth Report.
Network Health (Pie Chart) – Provides an overview of your network's current health. Refreshes every minute. Clicking on the widget will run a network health report, providing more details. See the Network Health Report.
Network Health (Bar Graph) – Provides an overview of your network's current health. Refreshes every minute. Clicking on the widget will run a network health report, providing more details. See the Network Health Report.
Network Status (Pie Chart) – Provides an overview of your network's current connectivity status. Refreshes every minute. Clicking on the widget will run a network status report, providing more details. See the Network Status Report.
Network Status (Bar Graph) – Provides an overview of your network's current connectivity status. Refreshes every minute. Clicking on the widget will run a network status report, providing more details. See the Network Status Report.
Recent Ad Copies – Lists the most recently uploaded ad copies in your domain. Refreshes every 5 minutes. Clicking on an ad copy's name will display it in the work area. See Ad Copies.
Recent Incidents – Lists the most recently reported incidents in your domain. Refreshes every minute. Clicking on an incident will display the service panel for the player or edge server that generated it. See the Incident Report.
Recent Campaigns – Lists the most recently created campaigns in your domain. Refreshes every 5 minutes. Clicking on the widget will run a network status report, providing more details. See Change Report.
Recent Changes – Lists the most recent unacknowledged changes in your domain. Refreshes every 5 minutes. Clicking on the widget will run a network status report, providing more details. See the Change Report.
