Version 14.0.0 - 23 Mar 2021
General
- Broadsign Control Administrator benefits from numerous scalability improvements made for the 14.0 release, including lightning-fast navigation of resources in the user interface.
- Simplified Player Configuration: You can now manage and control the behavior of the processes that display content on screen all in one place.
Added
- [CORE-15748]: You can now greatly reduce the time it takes to manage creatives using criteria sets.
- [CORE-17414]: It is now possible to view campaign performance reports by display units groupings, rather than by individual display units.
- [CORE-17409]: It is now possible to search for display unit resources via an arbitrary combination of criteria.
- [CORE-18916]: Audit Logs to provide insight into which user added or changed what resource in Broadsign Direct.
- [CORE-19087]: The Broadsign Control Administrator user interface now indicates the environment you are logged into.
- [CORE-17400]: A Contract Info tab has been added to Campaign Properties, allowing you to identify campaigns using a Contract ID, Proposal ID and Proposal Line Item ID. When entered in Broadsign Direct, these are read-only in Broadsign Control. Campaigns are searchable by Contract ID, and Contract ID appears (including the Scheduling Report) and POP Logs.
- [CORE-17966]: When enabled for a domain, an option appears in the Domain Properties -> Settings Section -> User Defaults tab to prevent a user from acquiring privileges outside of the group(s) to which the user belongs.
- [CORE-17915]: A new criteria of type Grouping allows you to easily group together Display Units, which then appear in Broadsign Direct as indivisible and targetable selection of inventory. Further, in Broadsign Control, you can use the Grouping criteria as the synchronization set name for the all DUs in the group, eliminating the need to enter a name manually.
- [CORE-17123]: New Campaign Performance Report header options have been added.
- [CORE-17415]: Emergency Messages can now be activated/deactivated atomically — that is, all displaying the same emergency message the same time — across a synchronized group of screens and sent through an Edge Server.
Improved
- [CORE-17074]: Enhanced speed when browsing resources.
- [CORE-15868]: A player can now try to acquire content by rotating between multiple edge servers. Previously, a player attached to the edge server with the lowest ID.
- [CORE-18705]: The maximum campaign saturation limit of 99 has been increased. Campaigns can now have a maximum saturation of +/-200 inclusive.
- [CORE-18710]: With each incorrect log in attempt you must wait longer until you can try again.
- [CORE-18711]: Before a user can change their password, they must enter their old password.
- [CORE-18794]: Selecting a Display Unit in the Campaign Editor’s Plan tab and pressing the Delete key now removes the DU from the plan without deactivating the DU.
Fixed
- [CORE-17394]: Fixed an issue in which undersaturated Campaigns that include pre-emptible and/or filler Campaigns could result in underperformance.
- [CORE-19856]: Fixed an issue in which the Broadsign Control Administrator Preview pane did not hold the last frame on shorter triggered content when 5 seconds or less remained.
- [CORE-19825]: Fixed an issue in where the “underestimate margin” feature caused a rounding error in the header of Campaign Performance Reports.
- [CORE-19805]: Fixed an issue causing Batch Campaign Performance Reports to show zero for repetitions/impressions for Campaigns beginning in the future.
Known Issues
- [CORE-19702]: A known issue causes network controls for Broadsign Reach to be disregarded.
